Air Cooling and Drying Systems

Simple, Efficient, Moisture Free Compressed Air

How It Works

Air enters the inlet port of the aftercooler from the compressor, traveling through, traveling through a series of copper tubes where air is cooled and moisture is released. The separator tank, complete with a drain, will remove 95% of the moisture released from the aftercooler. Air passes into the dryer through a desiccant bed which removes the remaining moisture from the air stream, bringing the dew point down to 20-30 degrees below ambient. The air exiting the top of the dryer should be clean, dry air. A sight glass is provided on the side of the desiccant tank for visual examination of the desiccant level.

Supplies Clean, Dry Air for up to Four 1/2" Blasting Nozzles

Compressed air is hot which attracts moisture. The number one problem in abrasive blasting is water in blast system. With the AD1600 you will never have this problem again. The AD1600 removes that moisture which most likely contains oil and solid particles. Abrasive blasting requires dry compressed air. This portable, skid-mounted air drying system supports our abrasive blasting and recycling systems

This Model 1600 CFM Air Drying System has been Specifically Designed for Portable Abrasive Blasting Operations.

Four Cooler / Dryer Combinations to Enhance the Efficient Operations of Your AES Vacuum Blasting Machines

How It Works

Air leaving a compressor is hot, moisture saturated and most likely contains oil and solid particles. AES Air Cooler/Dryer Units provide treatment of compressed air prior to its delivery to the Vacuum Blasting machine. The package comprises in-line; a coalescing filter for the removal of containments such as oil; and air cooler heat exchanger with an air driven fan; a water trap; a single-tower deliquescent dryer; and particulate filter.

Add a Cooler / Dryer to your Blasting Machine for Proper Performance

Air leaving a compressor is hot and moisture-saturated. Plus it most likely contains oil and solid particles. Clean, dry air is needed for the proper performance of the blasting machines. Air treatment equipment includes an air cooler/dryer system with coalescing and particulate filters. To dry and clean the air entering our vacuum blasting equipment, we offer four sizes of air cooler/dryer units.
